Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Cash Handling Experience Preferred
• Customer Service Experience Preferred
• Must work in a professional and confidential manner
• Basic ten-key skills
• Professional verbal communication
• Ability to promote the organization to customers and co-workers
• Strong math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately
• Able to maintain reliable attendance

Responsibilities

• Process retail and commercial deposits, verify documents and authorize transactions
• CASH checks, withdrawals, and cash advances within limits
• Operate computer terminals to process account activity and resolve issues
• Assist with night depository duties, logs, bags, and deposits
• Cross-sell bank products and refer customers to appropriate staff
• Issue cashier's checks and handle safe deposit duties
• Process stop payments and loan payments; balance cash drawer daily
• Prepare wire transfers and other reports as required
• Answer phones and direct callers to proper personnel
