Job summary

U-Haul Texarkana seeks a Customer Service Representative to be the face of the brand, assisting customers with products and services, and managing rentals with U-Scan.

You will move and hook up trucks, inspect equipment, answer questions, and educate customers. Min. requirements include a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma; on-the-job education is provided through U-Haul University. A $100 hiring bonus and a $300 completion bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Not eligible for employer sponsorship; must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluid checks.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returns of equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Propane filling (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
