Job summary

Uniti’s Customer Service Technicians support residential and business customers by installing and repairing telephone, internet, and video services across the United States. This role requires technical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to work indoors and outdoors.

You will climb ladders, operate test equipment, and carry up to 50 lbs, while following safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Ability to distinguish colors for color-coded cables.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work aloft.
• Must complete required safety training.
• Willingness to work day, evening, weekend and holiday hours.
• Must be able to respond to after-hour callouts.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair residential and business communications services including telephone, internet, and video.
• Train and work with tools and test equipment to service multiple technologies and network designs.
• Recommend products and services that resolve customer communications needs.
• Work in both buried and aerial plant requiring pole climbing and ladder skills.
• Safely operate and maintain a clean and organized company service vehicle.
• Work in both inside and outside environments.
• Report to the Manager of Local Operations.
