Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older for AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO/ 21 years of age for all other states
• Prepared to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)
• Ability to lift 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Valid Driver’s License
• Access to a car or other motorized vehicle
• Liability insurance on such vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store and provides fast, efficient service.
• Rings customer sales using an electronic cash register and handles money, change, refunds, and exchanges.
• Assist with shift change by counting money in the cash drawer at the start and end of a shift.
• Uses equipment to process money orders, credit card purchases, checks and lottery sales and redemptions.
• Check identification for restricted sales and stock shelves with unexpired items.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment and store areas, including restrooms and floors.
• Monitor cash levels and maintain security procedures during shifts.
