Job summary

Big Lots seeks motivated individuals to support our Stores with essential products and great values for the communities we serve. As a Big Lots Customer Service Associate you will greet customers, assist in merchandise selection, complete transactions, and answer questions about store and merchandise.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, well-organized store while ensuring safety and efficient service to customers during flexible hours including

Qualifications

• Education: High school or equivalent.
• Experience: Prefer experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer engagement in positive and approachable manner.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience.
• Unloads merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.
• Stock shelves and recovers merchandise in the store.
• Handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system.
• Ensures a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Performs other duties as needed to maintain store operations.
