Job summary

Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. As a Big Lots Customer Service Associate you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, completing transactions, and answering questions about the store and merchandise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Assist in unloading trucks and stocking shelves.
• Ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Perform other duties to support store operations.
