Licking County Job & Family Services in Newark, OH seeks entry-level Customer Service Specialists to join our team. You will act as the first point of contact for the public and assist with reception, mail processing, and access to community resources.

The role includes phone operations, computer tasks (Word, Excel, imaging, email), and cross-training in reception services to ensure quality service to individuals and families in need.

Qualifications

• Associate degree plus one year in customer service with the public; OR three years of demonstrated and relevant customer service experience.
• Successful background check, drug screen and driving record check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the reception area by processing documents and answering questions about Agency services and benefits.
• Receive and process mail; serve customers in our community resource room.
• Greet and assist customers face-to-face and by phone; direct to Agency and community programs and resources.
