Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart is hiring a Customer Service Specialist to assist our customers and resolve inquiries related to pre and post-delivery service. You will provide world-class service, resolve issues promptly, and build lasting relationships with customers across day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service experience, ability to navigate MS Office, and English/Spanish bilingual skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience that has included answering customer questions and concerns regularly
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
• Computer skills and ability to navigate through MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs
• English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class customer service to customers
• Resolve situations for customers in a prompt, accurate, and friendly manner
• Create positive experiences and build relationships to enhance customer loyalty
• Follow up with customer concerns, issues, needs in a timely manner
• Model the HEAT method: Hear them out, Empathize, Apologize, and Take-Action
• Research and review customer accounts and check status of merchandise to recommend service options
• Process returns, exchanges, refunds, cancellations, credit memos, adjustments, and service claims accurately
• Be a team player, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and complete training to learn new things
• Your work will directly impact helping people create a lifestyle they love
