Old Dominion Freight Line is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Irwindale, CA to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment.

You will handle phones and emails, provide rate quotes and shipment status, assist with Bill of Lading completion, and support office duties as needed. Strong communication, detail orientation and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in the transportation industry.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• AS400 experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated aptitude for quickly learning new systems and processes.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones and respond to emails in a courteous and timely manner.
• Provide rate quotes, sales bids, and shipment status information.
• Assist customers with completing a Bill of Lading and labeling freight.
• Respond to customer issues and questions promptly.
• Provide Service 2.OD to internal and external customers.
• Assist with general office duties as needed.
