Job summary

You will provide product information, refer customers to other departments, assist with safe deposit services, and ensure compliance with CRA/BSA and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of experience in customer service, cash handling, or related positions.
• Strong reading, writing, math, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a regulated banking environment and uphold policies.

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Accepts deposits of various account types.
• Cashes checks within approved authority and operating policy.
• Sells Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, Certified Checks, etc.
• Accepts loan payments, safe deposit box rent, and other related payments.
• Processes night deposits and mail deposits.
• Maintains an approved level of cash and balances cash drawer daily.
• Prepares reports and daily settlement documents.
• Provides direct service to customers and cross-sell bank products.
• Balances ATM and provides safe deposit services as needed.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
