Job summary

Mcs Bank in Kentucky seeks a courteous Teller to support paying, receiving, and customer service functions at the branch. You will greet customers, process deposits and withdrawals, issue cashier's checks and money orders, and help with loan payments and other payments.

You will balance cash drawers daily, assist with ATM operations, respond to inquiries, coordinate with other branches, and uphold bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, cash handling, or related positions.
• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills.
• Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills.
• Proficient creative and composition skills.
• Moderate PC skills and basic office equipment handling.
• Visual and auditory skills; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Accepts deposits of various account types.
• Cashes checks within approved authority and policy.
• Sells cashier's checks, money orders, certified checks, etc.
• Accepts loan payments, safe deposit box rent, and other related payments.
• Processes night deposits and mail deposits.
• Maintains cash levels and processes cash drawer balances daily.
• Prepares reports related to the function.
• Processes cash advance requests and performs POS processing for new accounts.
• Provides direct service on deposit products and refers customers to other departments as needed.
• Balances and services ATM machines; verifies and prepares coin for vault cash control.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
