Responsibilities

• Handle the complete customer journey from order to delivery scheduling and issue resolution.
• Create exceptional experiences through phone, email, and online interactions.
• Process and manage orders from multiple channels (phone, email, website).
• Coordinate deliveries and maintain timely communication with customers.
• Resolve product concerns, billing questions, and other inquiries.
• Manage accounts receivable for recent transactions.
• Process customer credits and refunds per company standards.

What You'll Do

As our Customer Service Specialist, you'll be the crucial link between Midwest Salt and our valued customers. You'll handle the complete customer journey—from initial orders to delivery scheduling and issue resolution. Your ability to make the ordering process simple and seamless will directly impact our customers' satisfaction and loyalty.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Creating exceptional customer experiences through phone, email, and online interactions
• Processing and managing customer orders from multiple channels (phone, email, website)
• Coordinating deliveries and ensuring timely communication with customers
• Resolving product concerns, billing questions, and other customer inquiries
• Managing accounts receivable for recent transactions
• Processing customer credits and refunds according to company standards

Position Details

• Salary: $48,000-$53,000. Bonus eligible.
• Location: On-site in Winfield, IL
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Summer hours) and 7:30am-5:30pm (Winter Hours)
• Type: Full-time, entry-level position
