Atterro is hiring a Customer Service Specialist – Direct Hire in Geneseo, NY. The role focuses on contacting customers regarding delinquent accounts, handling collections calls, skip tracing, negotiating payment arrangements, and documenting all interactions in our systems.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, strong reading and written communication, and at least 1 year of collections or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts and discuss available repayment solutions.
• Handle inbound and outbound collections calls while maintaining professionalism and compliance.
• Perform skip tracing to locate updated contact, employment, or account information.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and elevate complex collection matters when appropriate.
• Accurately document all customer interactions, payment commitments, and account activity in company systems.
• Verify account information for special circumstances, including bankruptcy, disability, and other legal considerations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company collection regulations and policies.
• Support additional administrative and collections-related tasks as assigned.

Location: Geneseo, NY
Pay Rate: $21.48 – $22.68 per hour
Training Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Post-Training Flexible Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–9:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Employees select an 8-hour shift within these windows and are required to work one evening per week until 9:00 PM.
