Job summary

Employment Solutions is partnering with a client to hire a Sales Support / Customer Service Representative to work on site in Milford, CT. You will support field sales and act as liaison between customers and quality, engineering and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, coordinating entry, preparing quotations, maintaining CRM data, and providing sales forecasts. A BS/BA is a plus and 5+ years in sales support in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree or BA degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of sales support experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment highly desirable.
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and Teams.
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and negotiation.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Employment Solutions is partnering with a client company to hire a Sales Support / Customer Service Representative to work on site in Milford, CT. This is a direct hire full-time position with outstanding benefits. Our client manufactures and sells high-performance metal components & assemblies.

Responsibilities:

• Support field sales and serve as the liaison between the customer and our quality, engineering and manufacturing departments
• Great customer service and account maintenance duties including scorecard and portal management
• Review orders for accuracy, coordinate order entry activity, and expedite order information to internal departments, external customers and sales organizations
• Prepare and coordinate customer quotations and proposals (either directly to customers or with field sales representatives)
• Maintain CRM database and customer data within company systems including ERP & CRM systems
• Monitor account activity, analyze overall account performance, and provide sales forecasts.
• Occasional travel to customer locations (10%), possible overtime

Required Education and Experience:

• BS degree or BA degree a plus
• 5+ years’ experience in sales support
• Previous business and sales experience in manufacturing environment highly desired
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM, Teams
• Knowledge of technical and mechanical aspects of products and services
• Knowledge of pricing strategies and negotiation techniques
• Excellent organizational abilities to work effectively on multiple projects
• Problem-solving aptitude and ability to ‘think on your feet’ a must
• Knowledge of factory production and engineered solutions a plus
