Position Overview

PCG is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role is critical in supporting our clients by providing exceptional service, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a smooth customer experience across multiple communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner
  • Accurately document customer interactions and update client records in the system
  • Provide information, support, and problem resolution related to PCG’s services and programs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex client issues
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to deliver accurate and helpful information
  • Adhere to confidentiality standards and ensure compliance with PCG policies and applicable regulations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a remote environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk)
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Comfortable working independently and meeting productivity benchmarks
  • Experience working with public sector clients or programs is a plus

Work Hours

  • 15–25 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling available during standard business hours (Monday–Friday)
