Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Property Manager to work independently across multiple locations, both indoors and outdoors. You will assess storage needs, recommend solutions, and may sell packing and moving supplies. Daily unit inspections ensure inventory and availability for rent.

The role involves handling cash, deposits, and helping customers stay current with payments, including reminder calls when needed. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are required for travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Independent work across multiple locations and outdoor environments.
• Experience in customer service oriented sales environments (retail, restaurant, fast-food or other service-based).
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel between locations (mileage reimbursement available).
• Physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds and to work outdoors up to 50% of the time; perform cleaning and maintenance tasks.

• Conduct daily inspections of storage units to confirm inventory and availability.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily business operations.
• Help customers stay current with payments and perform reminder/collection calls when required.

• Daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability helps make sure spaces are ready to rent
• Auditing cash drawers and making bank deposits are part of the daily business
• We help keep our customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to transport lift/move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Our property managers should be able to walk in/around facilities spending up to 50% of their time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
• Performing cleaning and daily maintenance tasks: including sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintain exterior grounds/curb appeal clean and free of debris.

Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.

Transportation: Our employees are required to have a valid driver’s license and utilize their own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business. (mileage reimbursement available)
