Job summary

The Fireplace Showcase is seeking an Assistant Service Coordinator to join our team in a fast-paced customer service environment. You will communicate with customers to identify needs, process requests, and provide solutions that ensure excellent service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED.
• Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and customer management software.
• Excellent phone and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails.
• Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect and record relevant information, and schedule technicians for service appointments.
• Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers.
• Document all customer interactions.
• Handle financial transactions; track, organize and manage accounts creating work orders and billing as appropriate.
• Order and stock parts, as needed.
