Performance Foodservice is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Augusta, Maine (in-office). The role supports the sales team and internal operations, handling orders, inquiries, and service issues with a strong customer-first mindset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and SharePoint experience are highly valued. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6 to 12 months of customer service, call center, administrative support, or related experience.
• Demonstrated customer-focused approach with a professional, positive demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel skills.
• Experience working within a SharePoint environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, pricing, and order status.
• Troubleshoot customer concerns and proactively resolve issues.
• Communicate customer feedback and service trends to internal departments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within company systems.
• Participate in training sessions, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
