Job summary

Performance Food Group, Portland location, is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support regional sales initiatives, collaborate with Sales Representatives, and provide merchandising and sales support. You will build relationships with new and existing customers while ensuring compliance with company programs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work with business applications to manage orders and customer data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years in a customer service, merchandising or sales role preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Must be exceptionally organized and able to multi-task.
• Willingness to travel as needed (minimum travel required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a detailed call routine with a ledger of customers.
• Execute company programs and initiatives (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, merchandising).
• Respond promptly to customer needs via phone or email.
• Find solutions to customer challenges with assistance.
• Identify and reduce out-of-stocks on shelves.
• Ensure products are fresh and within date codes.
• Ensure plan-o-grams and in-store marketing best practices are followed.
• Identify display opportunities and maximize placement.
• Ensure products are displayed, priced, and identified correctly.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
