Job summary

Lee Health in Southwest Florida is hiring a Customer Service Representative for Primary Care / Internal Medicine across multiple locations. You will greet patients, assist with check-in and scheduling, and help patients navigate visits while supporting daily practice operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and basic computer and math skills. Certification in Basic Life Support may be required.

What Youll Do

As a key member of the practice team, youll help ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for patients by:

• Greeting patients and assisting with check-in and appointment scheduling.

Depending on the assigned practice, additional responsibilities may include supporting employee health, workers compensation, commercial insurance, or corporate accounts.

What Were Looking For

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Less than one year of clerical or administrative experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer proficiency and basic math skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous customer service experience.
• Familiarity with insurance verification, medical billing, or healthcare office operations.

Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required in Employee Health and may be required at other locations within 90 days of hire.
