Responsibilities

• Set-up flights and load/unload trucks.

LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-Time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. We are the world’s leading provider of end-to-end airline products and services with a fast-growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• Set-up flights
• Read/understand flight diagrams and truck loading procedures.
• Load/Unload trucks.
• Meet selected flight upon arrival to cater/approach aircraft.
• Supply flights as needed.
• Move vehicles.
• Truck/vehicle inspection.
• Check flights upon departure for 100% accuracy.
• Interact with flight attendants and brief crews.
• Handle flight attendant complaint and concerns, resolve problems.
• Communicate any problems with flight to dispatch.
• Provide feedback to operation to get to root cause.
• When needed “guide” flights in and out of aircraft.
• Housekeeping – basic functions as per department requirement
• Comply to all Customer Service SOP’s

JOB SKILLS OR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to work well with others under pressure
• Job Qualifications: Must have a valid Driver’s License (CDL Preferred) with a clean DMV record (5 YEARS)
• Must be able to obtain a SIDA badge and clear a 10-year background verification clearance to obtain a Customs Seal and Driver Seal is required
• Must have experience of driving large delivery trucks
• Must possess basic math skills
• Must be able to apply safety standards
• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds in a safely manner
• Regularly stands, bends, stoop, lifts, walk on un-even surface and moves intermittently during shifts
• Must be able to work at heights

• Be 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
• Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift
• Be available to work in a 38° cold room, only when necessary
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English
• Possess basic math skills
• MUST be able to work a Flexible schedule; This is a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week

Additional eligibility requirements and details:

• This is a Union Position - must be willing to pay union dues after 14 days
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 – 12 hours a day
