Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs, with over 75 years of catering history, is hiring immediately for full-time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. This 24-hour operation requires flexibility and a commitment to sanitation and safety standards.

You will join a diverse team and contribute to a reputable global service provider. Candidates must be available any day of the week, pass background and drug checks, and be able to work in a cold 38-degree room when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have good attendance.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for entire shift.
• Must be able to push in excess of 70 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work around moving parts & wet floors.
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written English.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for using floor machine and cleaning work areas, floors, walls, bathrooms, offices, coolers, freezers, ramp and equipment.
• Also responsible for cleaning kitchen tools, equipment trays, pots and pans.
• Empty trash around the building. International garbage handling.
• Must maintain sanitation standards in accordance with Company policy and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations.

Pay Rate:$25.00hourly up to $32.65with No Medical Insurance!

Duties/ Responsibiliti es:

Sterilizer (International Trash) Autoclave Assigned to dedicated departments

Job Skills or Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in a hot, cold and wet environment
• Must be able to work with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.

• Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
• Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift
• Be available to work in a 38- degree cold room, only when necessary
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English
• Possess basic math skills

MUST be able to work a Flexible schedule; This is a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week Additional eligibility requirements and details:This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 14days.Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed. Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English.Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently, Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 – 12 hours a day
