Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs is hiring immediately for full-time team players to prepare products for airline, e-commerce, and retail customers. This role requires working any day of the week in a fast-paced kitchen and cleaning environment, with a focus on sanitation and safety per USDA/FDA/HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor machine and clean work areas, floors, walls, bathrooms, offices, coolers, freezers, ramp and equipment.
• Clean kitchen tools, equipment trays, pots and pans.
• Empty trash around the building and handle international waste.
• Maintain sanitation per company policies and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations.

We are the world’s leading provider of end-to–end airline products and services with a fast-growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Responsible for using floor machine and cleaning work areas, floors, walls, bathrooms, offices, coolers, freezers, ramp and equipment.
• Also responsible for cleaning kitchen tools, equipment trays, pots and pans.
• Empty trash around the building. International garbage handling.
• Must maintain sanitation standards in accordance with Company policy and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations.

Job Skills or Qualifications:

• Must be able to work with cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.

• Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
• Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift
• Be available to work in a 38- degree cold room, only when necessary
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English
• Possess basic math skills
• MUST be able to work a Flexible schedule; This is a 24 hour operation, 7 days a week Additional eligibility requirements and details:
• This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 14 days
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8-12 hours a day
