Job description

Description of Duties

• Set‑up flights
• Read and understand flight diagrams and truck loading procedures
• Load and unload trucks
• Meet selected flights on arrival, cater, and approach aircraft
• Supply flights as needed
• Move vehicles
• Inspect trucks and vehicles
• Check flights upon departure for 100% accuracy
• Interact with flight attendants and brief crews
• Handle flight attendant complaints and concerns, resolve problems
• Communicate flight issues with dispatch
• Provide feedback to operations to address root causes
• Guide flights into and out of aircraft when needed
• Perform basic housekeeping functions as required
• Comply with all customer service SOPs

Job Skills or Qualifications

• Must be able to work well with others under pressure
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) with a clean DMV record (5 years)
• Obtain a SIDA badge and clear a 10‑year background verification clearance to receive a Customs Seal; a driver seal is required
• Experience driving large delivery trucks
• Basic math skills
• Apply safety standards
• Flexible to work in a 24/7 environment, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays
• Lift, push, pull, move product, equipment, and supplies up to 50 pounds safely
• Regularly stand, bend, stoop, lift, walk on uneven surfaces, and move intermittently during shifts
• Work at heights
• 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Pass background check and drug screen
• Stand for entire shift duration
• Be available to work in a 38‑degree cold room when necessary
• Team player and work well with a diverse team
• Comprehend verbal and written specifications in English
• Flexible schedule – this is a 24‑hour operation, 7 days a week
• Union Position: willing to pay union dues after 14 days
