Job summary

Bird Staffing is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator for an automotive manufacturing environment. You will be the primary contact for OEM customers, ensuring accurate order processing, on-time delivery and exceptional service.

Team collaboration with Operations, Materials Planning, Warehouse, Shipping, Logistics, and Quality will drive timely shipments. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in customer service or logistics within automotive manufacturing, and experience with ERP, EDI, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or a related field required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of customer service, logistics, supply chain, or materials planning experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems, EDI, customer portals, Microsoft Excel, and inventory management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders, schedules, forecasts, and EDI transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential supply or production issues.
• Process shipping documentation, ASNs, and customer portal updates.
• Maintain accurate data within ERP systems and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Communicate shipment status, delivery updates, and recovery plans to customers.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain strong customer relationships.

The Customer Service Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for OEM customers, ensuring accurate order processing, on-time delivery, and exceptional customer service.
