Job summary

The Juris Agency in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an enthusiastic Insurance Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for clients with home, auto, or business insurance policies. You will answer inquiries, process policy changes, assist with claims, and ensure excellent service.

You will collaborate with agents and underwriters, stay up to date with Property & Casualty regulations, and help clients understand coverages and payment options. Training is provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain it within a specified time frame).
• Experience in Property & Casualty insurance or a customer service role.
• Ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
• Proficiency with insurance management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries regarding homeowners, auto, renters, and commercial insurance policies.
• Assist customers in understanding their policies, coverages, and options for renewals, endorsements, and changes.
• Process policy updates, cancellations, and reinstatements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
• Provide support to clients through the claims process, from filing to resolution, offering guidance and updates along the way.
• Help customers resolve billing issues and explain payment options and plans.
• Maintain accurate customer information and case details in our system.
• Collaborate with insurance agents, adjusters, and underwriters to ensure the best possible outcome for each client.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional coverages or policy adjustments that meet the clients needs.
