Forsyth County Environmental Health Department is seeking a Customer Service Representative.
As a Customer Service Representative with Forsyth County Environmental Health Department at the Georgia Department of Public Health - District 2, you will join a dedicated group of public health professionals that help support the overall mission and vision of protecting lives of Georgian residents in a variety of ways.
40-hour work week (Monday – Friday), 13 paid holidays/yr., 3 weeks each of annual & sick leave/yr., a defined benefit retirement plan including a 401(K) plan with a matching employer contribution, health and payroll deductible flexible benefits including employee, spouse and child life, AD&D, dental, vision, legal, long term care, short and long-term disability and specified illness options are available. Also, medical/childcare spending accounts can be established in addition to deferred compensation – 457.
High school diploma/GED and one (1) year of experience communicating information in a customer service setting are required.
High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience communicating information in a customer service setting; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Customer Svc Rep 1 (GST120) or position equivalent.
To be able to speak, read and write Spanish.
Current State employees are subject to State Personnel Board rules regarding salary.
DPH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. DPH will contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
