Job summary

Fireside, a Northwest premier fireplace and garage doors provider, is hiring a customer service specialist. You will handle customer inquiries, process forms, and maintain relationships across Oregon and Washington. This full-time role includes benefits and growth opportunities within a growing company.

Applicants should have 2+ years in customer service, strong communication, and solid organizational skills. Experience in related industries is a plus, and regular attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Customer Service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and professional telephone skills.
• Data entry experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Experience in construction, HVAC, fireplace, or garage industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and solve problems for customers.
• Follow up with customers by phone and email.
• Accurately process orders, application forms, and requests into the database.
• Schedule tasks and appointments as needed.
• Build and maintain great customer relationships.
• Update transaction statuses for customer calls.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Benefits:

Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service tasks and problem-solving with customers
• Follow up with customers through phone and email
• Accurately process orders, application forms, and requests into data base
• Scheduling
• Creating and establishing great relationships with customers
• Update transactions status of all customer calls
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of Customer Service experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good organizational skills and professional telephone skills
• Data entry experience is a plus, but not required
• Organizational, time management and customer service skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Prior experience working in construction, HVAC, fireplace, or garage industries is a plus
