Job summary

Fireside in Oregon/Washington is seeking a skilled Fireplace Installer to join our team. You will install wood, gas, electrical and pellet fireplaces and ensure parts are loaded and verified for each job.

The role requires safe use of power and hand tools, lifting 80 lbs, and compliance with safety rules. A High School Diploma or GED is required and a valid WA driver’s license is preferred. Regular attendance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Install fireplaces (wood, gas, electrical and pellet) per standards.
• Load and account for all parts for each job.
• Check work for errors and correct them.
• Maintain professional appearance with clients.
• Abide by safety rules set forth by company and agencies.
• Ensure hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.

Wage Scale

$20.00+ per hour to Piece Rate

Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Installing wood, gas, electrical and pellet fireplaces per company and manufacturers standards
• Ensure all parts are loaded and accounted for per each job
• Check work for errors and correct them if necessary
• Maintain professional appearance with clients and customers
• Abide by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental agencies
• Ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected

Requirements

• Ability to use power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Previous construction experience is preferred, but not required
• Valid WA Driver’s license with good driving record
• Ability to lift 80lbs or more
• Mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Regular attendance is required
