Jon Wayne Service Company, a leading residential service and replacement provider in San Antonio, is hiring for a customer-focused role. The successful candidate will handle high-volume inbound calls, schedule HVAC/plumbing/electrical appointments, and strive to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.

Applicants should have experience in customer service or sales, excellent communication and writing skills, and be willing to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 30 wpm typing speed.

Responsibilities

• Help customers schedule appointments for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical service.
• Ensure a companywide commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction.
• Randomly check with customers to ensure satisfaction with performance.
• Work with dispatch to improve scheduling accuracy and speed of response.
• Assist service and installation departments to achieve objectives.
• Pursue ongoing education in customer relations.
• Abide by all company procedures and policies.
• Represent customers' best interests in dealings with coworkers and the company.

Job description

Jon Wayne is the largest and fastest growing Residential service and replacement company in our market with an excellent reputation for performance and as a place to work. The company cares about employees, and insists that the employees care about customers. Call center hours are from 7 AM-8 PM Monday-Saturday. Call center personnel sometimes work in excess of 40 hours per week during periods of high demand. Employees are compensated accordingly.

Requirements

• Must have successful work experience in the area of customer service, inside sales, or telemarketing
• Must be an excellent “people” person with superior skills in the areas of customer service, problem resolution, and sales
• Must have excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills and minimum 30wpm typing speed
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends on a rotation
• Must be willing and able to handle high call volume, especially in peak hours and busy season – mostly inbound but also some outbound calls
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to commit to supporting the department as a team player
• Must be willing to strive for and achieve goals and have progress tracked, both individually and by department
