Core Personnel Staffing is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Rowlett, TX. This temp-to-hire role pays $24/hr and supports production, quality, and shipping teams to ensure orders ship on time.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–2:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays and potential overtime depending on production demand. The position focuses on handling inquiries, processing orders in the system, and communicating updates to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with order management or inventory tracking systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, able to juggle several tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of plating, coatings, or metal finishing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Answer customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Enter and process customer orders accurately in the company system.
• Give customers clear updates on order status, lead times, pricing, and delays.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, escalating when needed.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and shipping to ship orders on time.
• Keep customer records, purchase orders, and correspondence up to date.
• Run reports on order tracking, customer feedback, and service performance.

Core Personnel Staffing is hiring a Customer Service Representative for an established metal finishing manufacturer in Rowlett, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys being the go-to contact for customers and works well with production, quality, and shipping teams to get orders out on time.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

Calm and professional when handling difficult customer situations

Knowledge of plating, coatings, or metal finishing is a plus

Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–2:30 PM

Occasional Saturdays as needed, with advance notice

Overtime may be available based on production demand

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Primarily a desk role with extended sitting and computer/phone use

Occasional walking to production and shipping areas

Occasional lifting of small packages or paperwork

Safety glasses and earplugs required when on the production floor (provided)
