Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Ocean Township, NJ. You will provide top-notch service, handle inbound leads, and help move people forward with strategic selling and service knowledge.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays and a base salary plus monthly commissions. Ideal candidates have excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of sales or customer

Responsibilities

• Provide positive energy and top-notch customer service.
• Acts as the first point of contact for new and existing customers to establish a rapport and build confidence in TWO MEN AND A TRUCK services.
• Asks open-ended, probing questions to determine customer requirements and expectations.
• Input customer information accurately into move software to create an estimate.
• Makes recommendations according to customer needs on moving services, boxes, supplies and equipment and other value-added services.
• Continually maintains thorough understanding of all company products, services, pricing and promotions to effectively communicate the benefits and value of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK and oppose any customer objections.
• Obtains customer feedback through regular follow-up calls, both during and after moves to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
• All other duties as assigned; Contribute to the success of the TEAM; Be Your Best and Have Fun!

What We Offer

• Pay range:$40,000 - $55,000 annually with monthly commissions
• Average first year earning potential: $45,000+

• Schedule:Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm with alternating Saturdays, 8:00am – 12:00pm

Who We're Looking For

Because moving is stressful, we seek candidates with a commitment to customer service and exceeding expectations. As a customer service representative, you should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

• Excellent customer service skills and strong problem-solving ability
• Professional attitude and demeanor with an optimistic outlook on life
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Strong team player who works productively with a wide range of people and personalities
• A minimum of 6 months of sales and/or customer service experience preferred; inbound sales, call center, retail sales, and/or other sales driven experience preferred
• Computer skills; familiar with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new programs
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen
