ITAC Solutions is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client’s industrial supply team, helping businesses secure welding, safety, and gas products essential to operations. The role blends responsive customer service with consultative inside sales to build lasting relationships and solve real customer needs.

The position offers a contract-to-hire path with performance-based bonus potential, limited overtime, and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, relevant training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to interpret safety documents, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
• Comfort preparing reports and calculating discounts, commissions, percentages, and proportions.
• Ability to regularly lift 10–20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience using inventory or order-processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound inquiries and convert customer needs into sales.
• Make outbound calls and emails to follow up with leads and existing customers.
• Recommend products, address objections, provide quotes, and prepare sales orders.
• Build strong relationships with business and industrial customers.
• Monitor inventory and communicate expected delivery dates.
• Maintain customer and sales information within company systems.
• Partner with outside sales representatives and resolve delivery concerns.
