Consolidated Energy Company in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage customer accounts, create delivery and service tickets, and resolve inquiries with a friendly, professional demeanor.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years in customer service or administrative roles, strong data entry skills, and the ability to follow strict processes and safety protocols in a fast-paced office environment. This full-time position options daytime hours Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service or admin experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel and Outlook preferred.
• Strong communication and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound/outbound customer calls on multiline phone system.
• Process payments, adjustments, corrections, and deposits.
• Process delivery and product service orders, and invoices.
• Update customer account information accurately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer billing questions in person, phone, and email.
• Provide comprehensive support to customers.
• Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams in person and virtually.
• Handle seasonally high-volume workload with time-sensitive tasks.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in keeping our communities warm and safe. You will manage customer accounts, create delivery and service tickets, resolve inquiries with a friendly, professional demeanor. The ideal candidate is patient, customer focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses strong data entry skills, and is comfortable following strict processes and safety protocols.

This is a full-time position located in La Crosse, WI and will include Monday through Friday, daytime hours.

This position will also be responsible for:

• Manage Inbound/Outbound customer calls on multiline phone system
• Process payments, adjustments, corrections, and deposits
• Process delivery and product service orders, and invoices
• Update customer account information accurately

• Provide comprehensive support to customers

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years of experience in customer service or administration role preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook
• Ability to manage a variety of high-volume tasks efficiently while ensuring project deadlines are met and tasks are completed timely
• Strong communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills are essential
• Basic math skills to calculate gallons, taxes, and percentages
• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, multitasking between phone systems and computer software
