Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Computer data-entry experience is preferred.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry is preferred.
• Reading and converting measurements is preferred.
• Encore / Amtech system knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders from customers or sales representatives.
• Place orders for materials and supplies used in production.
• Process billing and coordinate accounting credits.
• Handle customer questions, complaints and follow-up with internal teams.
• Maintain and update customer files.
• Process new items and purchase orders.
• Track warehouse items and monitor stock levels per customer.
• Coordinate order changes and send confirmations to customers.
• Assist sales personnel and support supplemental sales.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take customer orders either directly from customers or sales representatives.
• Place orders on a timely basis for purchases of materials and supplies to be used in production.
• Process billing.
• Handle customer complaints, questions, and follow-up with appropriate internal personnel as required.
• Maintain customer files.
• Process new items.
• Process purchase orders.
• Coordinate accounting credits.
• Record and distribute customer order changes.
• Fax confirmations to customers
• Assist sales personnel as appropriate and assist in generating supplemental sales.
• Track warehouse items to insure availability and that agreed upon minimum/maximum levels are followed. Analyze monthly usages and re-stocking per customer
• Complies with company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Candidates are PREFERREDwho offer the following:
