Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Janel Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative to respond to customer inquiries, coordinate freight movements, and ensure timely deliveries to our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in trucking/logistics, as well as customer service experience dealing directly with the customer.

The position is based in our Houston, TX office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, delivery times, and service issues.
  • Coordinate with warehouses, freight brokers, and shippers.
  • Resolve customer complaints and service-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, carriers, and vendors.
  • Answer and respond to incoming calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Solid computer skills, required
  • Solid communication skills, required
  • 1+ year of relevant experience as a customer service representative in the trucking and/or hot shot industry, highly preferred
