Job summary

General Propeller is an established marine propeller and boating solutions business in Bradenton, Florida. We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and ensuring the right product is chosen the first time.

You will learn our products and identify opportunities to up-sell upgrades and complementary solutions. This is a full-time on-site role in Bradenton, with occasional travel to Louisiana for customer visits, events, and training.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience with ability to upsell and identify sales opportunities.
• Strong communication, listening, and note-taking skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented with reliable follow-through.
• Comfort using computer systems and learning product information.
• Willingness to learn in a busy, collaborative environment.
• Available to work full-time onsite in Bradenton, Monday–Friday.
• Occasional travel to Louisiana for visits/events/training.

General Propeller is an established marine propeller and boating solutions business in Bradenton, Florida. Boat owners, captains, marinas and repair shops rely on us. We’re looking for a Customer Service Representative who loves helping people, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in getting every customer the right product the first time. Along the way, you’ll spot opportunities to recommend upgrades and complementary products that make a real difference for the customer. No marine background? We’ll teach you the products. What we’re looking for is someone curious and eager to learn.

What You'll Do

• Deliver responsive customer service from initial inquiry through purchase and follow up
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products, upgrades and complementary solutions
• Coordinate quotes and orders, maintaining accuracy and clear communication throughout
• Resolve customer concerns and collaborate with the team on technical inquiries
• Build lasting relationships that encourage repeat business and support sales goals

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience with confidence recommending solutions and identifying sales opportunities
• Strong communication, listening and note taking skills
• An organized, detail oriented approach with reliable follow through
• Comfort using computer systems and learning technical product information
• Mechanical curiosity and a willingness to learn in a busy, collaborative environment
• Availability to work full time onsite in Bradenton, Monday through Friday
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, events and training, including in Louisiana

Experience That Would Be a Plus

• Familiarity with technical products or industries such as marine, automotive, industrial equipment or aviation
• Experience with quoting, order processing or inventory systems
• Experience recommending upgrades or complementary products based on customer needs
• Experience researching product specifications or helping customers identify compatible parts
