Job summary

Companions Animal Hospital is a veterinary clinic that cares for small animals and is seeking a friendly customer service specialist to join our team in Boise.

You will greet clients and their pets, answer phones, schedule appointments using Impromed software, and handle payments and email/text communications. Occasional animal handling and a commitment to weekends/holidays off will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle phones, scheduling and payments.

Responsibilities

• Greet all clients and pets to create a welcoming atmosphere.

• Check clients in/out and process payments.
• Handle medication refill requests and monitor emails/texts.
• Open/close the office and assist with occasional animal handling.

Companions Animal Hospital is a veterinary clinic that cares for small animals only, dogs and cats. We are looking for a people person who also loves animals to join our customer service team.

Duties would include:

• Greeting all clients and pets, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
• Answering phones.
• Scheduling appointments, using Impromed veterinary software.
• Checking clients in and out, processing payments.
• Handling medication refill requests.
• Monitoring and responding to email and text communications.
• Opening and/or closing the office.
• Occasional animal handling may be required.

Requirements:

• Experience in the veterinary field very much preferred.
