Marci Hawkins American Family Insurance is looking for a personable, motivated, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our established agency in Andover, MN!

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established office with a positive, supportive, and flexible team culture. We take pride in building lasting relationships with our customers and providing the personalized service they deserve.

In this role, you'll primarily focus on servicing existing clients, answering questions, assisting with policy changes, and making sure customers have a great experience. You'll also have opportunities to identify additional coverage needs, cross-sell products, and contribute to the continued growth of the agency.

We're ideally looking for someone who already has their insurance license and some industry experience, but we're open to considering candidates with a strong customer service, sales, or relationship-building background who are interested in obtaining their license.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide friendly, professional, and responsive service to existing and prospective customers.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries regarding insurance policies and coverage.
• Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, renewals, and general account maintenance.
• Review customer needs and identify opportunities to recommend additional coverage.
• Support inside sales efforts through cross-selling and upselling insurance products to existing clients.
• Assist with quoting, processing applications, and following up on new business opportunities.
• Build strong customer relationships and contribute to client satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain accurate customer information and documentation within agency management systems.
• Work collaboratively with the team to support daily agency operations and overall business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license preferred.
• Previous insurance agency or customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with personal lines insurance is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Comfortable identifying sales opportunities and recommending additional products when appropriate.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• A team player who enjoys building relationships and contributing to a positive office environment.
• Unlicensed candidates with relevant customer service, sales, or administrative experience are encouraged to apply if willing to obtain the necessary insurance licensing.
