U-Haul International, Inc. in Alexandria, LA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service and assist customers with rentals, equipment inspections, and on-site support. The role includes operating U-Scan technology, moving and hooking up trucks, and ensuring equipment is clean and safe for customers.

The position offers on-the-job education, with opportunities for advancement and a paid introduction via two hands-on interviews. Local candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluids.
• Educate customers regarding products and services and prepare rental invoices.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring; fill propane and forklift operations as needed.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
