Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a friendly, motivated Customer Service Representative to join a supportive team and serve as the face of the company’s exceptional service. You will assist customers, inspect and maintain equipment, and use U-Scan technology to dispatch and return rentals.

The role offers on-the-job education, two paid hands-on interviews, and hiring bonuses of $100 and $300 upon completion of certification. Part-time position with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers on products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and process returned equipment.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered through U-Haul upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education via U-Haul University.
