Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a focused logistics coordinator in Garden Grove, CA. The role supports production by expediting work flow and ensuring due dates align with delivery plans. You will monitor customer orders, verify documents, and provide timely status updates.

With 2+ years in manufacturing and a high school diploma or GED, you will communicate with customers on requirements and collaborate with production to meet schedules in a day-to-day, first-shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Review the MRP system to ensure customer order due dates align with delivery dates.
• Verify customer purchase orders against internal work orders to ensure compliance with process requirements.
• Provide updates to customers on order status within 4 hours.
• Communicate with customers on blue prints, drawings, or other items needed for processing.
• Coordinate with production to obtain ECDs for orders.
• Prepare orders for ship out or other areas as needed.
• Develop daily reports on orders and communicate with production.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Review the MRP system to ensure customer order due dates are in line with required delivery dates
• Verify customer purchase orders against internal work order to ensure that the company can comply with process requirements and all processes have been flowed down correctly
• Provide continuous updates to customers on the status of their orders within the allotted 4 hour time frame
• Communicate with customers on any additional blue prints, drawings, or other items needed for processing
• Coordinate with production on obtaining ECD's for orders
• Prepare orders in ship out or other areas as needed
• Develop daily reports on orders and communicate with production
• Other duties as assigned

Job Overview

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm)

Education

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working conditions are normal for an office environment but may be exposed to shop conditions.

This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.
