Norsk Hydro in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to deliver outstanding support to our customers. This role involves actively addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive customer experience at every interaction.

You will process orders, manage accounts via phone and email, prepare quotations, and collaborate with a team in a manufacturing setting. A minimum of two years in customer service and familiarity with inventory processes are preferred.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding support to our customers. This position involves actively addressing inquiries, effectively resolving issues, and fostering a positive customer experience at every interaction.

What you will be doing

• Process customer purchase orders, including order entry, acknowledgment, part setup, and pricing verification.

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

• Minimum of 2years of customer service experience
• Exposure to inventory and planning processes.
• Travel - less than 10%

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience in extrusion or manufacturing customer service is desirable.
• Familiarity with Oracle P.O. management is considered an asset.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Working knowledge of AS400 is an asset.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient in handling customer interactions via telephone and email.
• Highly organized, self-starter, and detail-oriented.
• Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
