Job summary

U-Haul in Cornelius, NC is hiring a Rental Associate to help customers with rentals and services. You will use U-Scan tech to manage inventory, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and ensure equipment is clean and safe for customers.

Candidates must have a valid driver''s license and a high school diploma or equivalent; training for hitch installation, propane filling, and forklift operation is provided on the job. This role offers opportunities for growth within a stable, nationwide company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U‑Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U‑Scan to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U‑Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot and check fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Other duties as assigned; participate in U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
