Job summary

Catapult Employers Association is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support our custom fabrication department in Charlotte. You will be the primary customer contact, handling quoting, orders, and production coordination with strong emphasis on accuracy and service.

The role includes training, a fast-paced environment, and cross-functional collaboration with production, warehouse, and internal teams. A competitive starting salary and room for growth accompany this position.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in order processing, project coordination, administrative support, customer service, or inside sales.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn new systems, products, and processes quickly.
  • Self‑motivated, dependable, and adaptable.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding custom color and fabrication requests.
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email throughout the quoting, ordering, and production process.
  • Provide timely updates and ensure an exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and internal teams to support customer needs.
  • Prepare and process quotes for custom orders and product modifications.
  • Coordinate order approvals, deposits, production releases, and related documentation.
  • Ensure customer specifications and special requirements are accurately communicated to production teams.
  • Assist with order tracking and status updates.
  • Maintain accurate records, tracking logs, and order documentation.
  • Create purchase orders and process internal documentation required for custom orders.
  • Monitor active projects to ensure deadlines and production requirements are met.
  • Support continuous improvement of departmental processes and procedures.
  • Learn company products, custom fabrication processes, and order procedures.
  • Assist internal teams with product conversion information and component requirements.
  • Support production documentation, labeling, and custom order release activities.
  • Help coordinate specialty parts, components, and custom project requirements as needed.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused professional to support our custom fabrication department. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple priorities, and has exceptional attention to detail. While this position includes some technical and product-related responsibilities, no prior technical experience is required. We provide comprehensive training and are looking for someone who is eager to learn, follows established processes, and excels at delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Order Coordination
