Hopkins Printing in Columbus, OH seeks a Leader for the Customer Service Team overseeing estimating, job planning, prepress, and plating. You will coordinate project flow to meet schedules and customer expectations, supervising multiple functions and shifts.

This role requires excellent communication, strong MS Office and Monarch system skills, and a solid understanding of prepress and printing workflows. You will ensure accuracy of estimates, proofs, and plates, and promote Lean initiatives.

Formación

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills gained through formal study or job experience in MS Office, internet, email, and Monarch system.
• Solid understanding of prepress, printing, graphic arts and variable print workflow.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the movement (traffic) of projects through estimating, planning, prepress, plating, and customer service to meet schedules.
• Ensure customer expectations, schedules, and production rates are met for all functions and shifts.
• Ensure estimates, proofs, and plates for press are accurately prepared and timely produced.
• Maintain equipment and prevent maintenance for plate processor.
• Coordinate production expectations with second shift plant manager and second shift operators.
• Provide prepress solutions for current or potential projects with planners and estimators.
• Maintain paper inventory and conduct monthly physical inventory per Business Office expectations.
• Maintain an organized office and respond to employees, customers, and vendors.
• Order supplies and complete purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure departmental supplies are stored in an organized manner.
• Embrace Lean initiatives.
• Cross-train department staff to a 3-deep level in primary duties.
• Conduct daily huddle meetings.
• Maintain a vacation schedule for CST employees.
• Document standard work and keep processes up-to-date.
• Plan and authorize overtime for hourly employees.
• Communicate employee attendance to the group.
• Provide feedback to Manager on employee reviews.
• Train on Purple X/House Error reports to ensure error-free ticket data.
• Coordinate FSC approvals, activities and record retention for FSC jobs.
• Ensure all department staff have a job description.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
