Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Smyrna, TN is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, answer questions, and help them locate home improvement products with friendly, proactive service.

You will process orders, assist with stocking and merchandising, and collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Prior retail exposure is helpful; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer including inputting data.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic skills required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance service.
• Prepare merchandise in departments per customer needs (e.g., paint, pipes, wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
