Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers in handling rentals, equipment inspection, and related services. You will use U‑Scan technology to manage inventory, help move and hook up trucks, and ensure clean, safe equipment on the lot.

The role includes pay bonuses and opportunities for on‑the‑job training. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license, with insurance and safety programs in place.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• The work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U‑Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U‑Scan to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U‑Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including fluids.
• Answer questions and educate customers about products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane (certification offered upon employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered upon employment).
• Participate in ongoing U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
