Job summary

Shard Inc in Colorado is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our small, family-owned glass company. You will handle inbound calls and emails, identify customer needs, and provide helpful solutions to ensure a positive service experience.

The ideal candidate is friendly, computer-savvy, detail-oriented, and able to stay calm under pressure. Previous CSR experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is required. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED is required or preferred.
• Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative or in a similar role is preferred.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Excellent phone and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of active listening techniques.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize projects and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Receive a high volume of inbound calls and emails
• Identify the reason for the customer’s call, collect relevant information and provide solutions
• Contact customers to verify appointments
• Use best practices in customer service techniques to develop rapport and build relationships with customers
• Document all customer interactions
• Schedule appointments for service calls
