Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a Customer Service Representative I in Buffalo Grove, IL to provide frontline support for product inquiries, pricing, and lead times. You will manage the full order process from intake to confirmation and proactively communicate scheduling updates to customers.

The role involves handling warranties and returns, working under a manager, and leveraging Oracle and Vapor Bus policies. A strong customer service background and basic product knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2+ years progressive customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and verify the accuracy of orders from customers through various channels.
• Process Commercial, International and Transit & Bus/Relay orders with awareness of incoterms and order impact.
• Initiate actions for responses to customer service requests for order changes and maintain order information files.
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint and ensuring resolution.
• Provide gold standard quality service to internal and external customers.
• Adhere to safety protocols and participate in training as assigned.
